MiataFun Fun Fun, that’s the name of the game. We have had some really great times so far this year with our Miata friends and Clubs.
4/23- Meeting up with our neighbor club in Arizona we traveled the most scenic roads.
You think Arizona is just a desert! Well you are wrong, it has some of the niftiest twistiest roads ever. Yes the Cactus Crusin may have fallen by the way but the “Not Quite Cactus Cruisin” was a big success with almost 50 cars! Great driving, great dinners, great company what more could you ask for.
5/1- Search for Madonna, Again another fun run in the San Luis Obispo area. A weekend of driving, shopping, car shows and good old Miata Cruising and Photo taking. And lets not forget the banquet and room hopping to see what crazy rooms people reserved. Some members also dressed up (sort of) Check out the pictures at http://Miatafun.net and see what we mean! It was a great time had by all.

What’s coming up? Lots of Miata events.
MiataFun was contacted to have our members go to Las Vegas on the 12th of June for a “Super model Photo shoot”. For $35.00 you can have your car shot with some pretty models. If you get 12 members to go you
would have enough for your own Miata Calendar -Think of it- Your car, pretty girls, Miata calendar. Hmmmm!!! We let the other clubs in on the event too.June is quite a month to behold. Lots of great stuff happening. They start off the month with:

RedwoodCoast- 6/4 Cool weekend on the coast
MMCof NY- 6/6 The finger lakes sports car festival
SOCALM- 6/12 Twisted Weekend Rewind

Now that we have your attention!
SOCALM is putting on a Poker Run to beat all. For $30.00 you can enter the event and receive a t-shirt and a chance to win a new Miata.
You must sign up by June 25th and have your Applications sent in. Check the information on the website. There is also Quisno’s Box lunches available to eat on the run for $10.00. It’s not a race so you can stop and eat and enjoy the sites. After the event there is a dinner ($17.00 Includes tax and tip) And a big raffle drawing. All the raffle monies go to the Devin Hock Charity for the cure of childhood cancer. Prizes will be big so certificates will be handed out instead of things that do not fit in a Miata with people in it! Remember this is for charity.Save the date 7/10/2004 Be There!
We want to take a moment and thank all the people that use MiataFun.net as a place to find out what other clubs are doing and joining in on there events. That is what it is all about. Driving our cars, being seen, Sharing stories, and of course sharing our favorite places to eat!
We still have a few Miata Calendars left incase you would like to have an ALL MIATA Calendar to hang in your office, home or garage to look at while you relax or work! For $17.00 we will mail one to you or you can pick one up at one of the activities we are present at for $15.00.
