Yosemite Sunset-Moonlight Run
It's that time again, for our night time Yosemite Run. We're giving it a twist this year. We'll watch the sunset from Olmstead Point while eating our picnic dinner, then we'll drive down into the Valley and up the other side to Glacier Point to take in the full moon. This will be a long day, but I promise, an unforgettable one.
The date is August 16th, the closest Saturday to the full moon.
We'll meet at Starbucks at Shaw & 41 at 1 p.m. We'll rendezvous with another group in Oakhurst in the Raley's parking lot at 2 for lunch. If you'd rather meet us in Oakhurst that's fine. Then Bob Whitley will lead us up Highway 49 to begin our adventure.
Pack a picnic dinner and bring $20 for entrance into the Park.
No RSVP required, but will be appreciated so we'll have an idea how large our group will be. mtnmiz@comcast.net That's Sharon Mack.
Also e-mail me with any questions.
This is a run like no other you've ever been on, Yosemite at night is magical.
