Who: Sahuaro Miata Club, Old Pueblo Miata Club, San Diego Miata Club and SOCALM
When: Feb. 18-19, 2006
Where: Yuma, Arizona
Why: Just for fun and to meet Miata owners from other clubs - a one-night get-a-way!  

The host club is The Sahuaro Miata Club of Arizona.

 We have a block of 30 rooms at the Ramada Inn Chilton Conference Center in Yuma. The group rate is $79.00 for two people. You must mention "Sahuaro Miata Club" in order to get this rate. They have non-smoking, smoking,& H/C rooms.  

Complete breakfast is included. Deadline for reservations is Feb. 1, 2006. Everyone is responsible for their own reservations and can make them by calling (928) 344-1050 or 1-800-2Ramada. There are also other motel chain's available such as Motel 6, Super 8, etc.

 Itenerary:
 Saturday:
12:30pm-Registration begins in the "Inca" room at Ramada Conference Center.
1:30pm-Welcome party--poolside--meet members from other Miata clubs, kick tires, tell lies about how slow we drove across the desert.
2:00-3:00pm-Miata games, Crazy hat contest,Diorama & model Miata contest, peoples choice voting. 3:15pm-Door Prizes!
3:30pm-Pick your choice of activities,a tour will be going to the "Peanut Patch". There is a real camel farm nearby, a festival is going on downtown, take a dip in the pool or hot tub.
4:00pm-Demo by Glen Swensen of "Robert's Autosports" (poolside).
6:00pm-Group Cruise thru old town to "Texas Roadhouse" for dinner. Awards, prizes, 50/50 drawing. After dinner you're on your own, we will have maps to the two casino's, the festival is still going on downtown, the Texas Roadhouse has a cocktail lounge, so does the Ramada.
9:00pm-Poolside--Coffee, cookies, & ice cream!!

Get a good night's sleep,tomorrow you're going to prison!!

Sunday am --Follow the events program, follow the Miata in front of you, follow everything your navigator tells you, follow the instructions from the Warden & smile!!

7:00 to 10:00am- Breakfast (included in room rate).
10:30am- check-out.
11:00am-Cruise thru town over one -lane bridge to Yuma Prison, we will tour the prison, see a old west gunfight, take a group photo (cars, people, club banner's).

Say Goodbye to our new Miata friends, have a safe ride home!
